World Standards Day, also known as International Standards Day, is observed every year, on 14 October, to spread awareness among consumers, policymakers, and businesses about the importance of standardisation. The process of standardisation is crucial for promoting trade and resolving technical issues. This year, the day is centered on the theme, ‘Build Back Better’. Various events are planned by different organisations, including government bodies, to observe this day.
