The Charming Crabs

- July 2, 2021

This past Monday, IFS (Indian Forest Service) officer Sudha Ramen shared a delightful video through her Twitter account. In a stunning show of nature’s creations, the video depicts a cast of brightly-coloured male crabs performing a highly synchronized mating dance in order to impress female crabs. The video went viral and garnered over a hundred thousand views as of now, eliciting a great response from netizens who were fascinated by the precise movement of the little animals. During such uncertain times in our world, it certainly helps to look at nature’s small yet enduring wonders.
