V. Prabhu, a 42-year-old basketball coach from Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, is an example of kindness and passion. He has been coaching underprivileged children for free since 2000. Being a class 10 dropout did not hinder him in helping his students achieve their dreams. Some of his pupils, like Akilan Pari, who plays in the pro-basketball league, have made it big. As a country that has a lot of untapped potential in sports, which often goes unrecognised, we need more people like Prabhu in our midst.
