20-year-old Indian badminton player, Lakshya Sen, won a silver medal in the finals of the German Open 2022, on March 13, 2022. Sen, who hails from Almora, Uttarakhand, put up a good fight against Kunlavut Vitidsarn, from Thailand, who claimed the title. Earlier, the Indian badminton player defeated the reigning world champion and World No. 1 Viktor Axelsen, in the semi-finals of the tournament.
