Navy Milestone

In a major milestone for the Indian Navy, the indigenously built aircraft carrier INS Vikrant returned to Kochi on Sunday, after the successful completion of its five-day test run. The carrier being proved satisfactory in all parameters is especially commendable given the restrictions and challenges posed by the COVID pandemic. Further rounds of testing have been planned before the final delivery of the carrier in 2022 which will hopefully coincide with India’s 75th Independence Day.
