67-year-old Antony John, a career consultant, and environmentalist, from Kerala, has built a unique electric car that reduces maintenance costs and the environmental impacts of burning fossil fuels. The vehicle, named ‘Pulkoodu’, has a speed of 25 km per hour and is legally cleared for its use on the roads. Antony is currently working on a vehicle model that could be even more affordable to people, than Pulkoodu.
