Four engineering students, Naveen, Shubhan Sain, Supreeth, and Vivek Chandrashekhar, from Mysore, Karnataka, have developed a cost-effective cooling cart. The cart would help  vegetable vendors to keep their products fresh while they sell, especially during the summer months. The students have built an air-cooled chamber in the cart and sourced solar energy for electricity so that the machine remains self-reliant. Team member, Vivek Chandrashekhar, said that they are planning to include more solar panels and increase the storage capacity of the cart.
