Busy as a Bee

- May 20, 2022

World Bee Day is celebrated across the globe, every year on May 20. Bees carry pollen grains from one flower to another and facilitate the production of seeds, fruits, and nuts. The day is observed to create awareness about their importance as pollinators and their contribution in conserving our biodiversity. The day also marks the birth anniversary of Slovenian beekeeper Anton Janša, who is known as the pioneer of modern beekeeping.
