Several days ago, Shanti Murmu of Kujram village in Jharkhand was surprised to learn that she can avail free medical up to Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. To spread awareness about the scheme and to create Ayushman cards for each villager, volunteers ride in a motorcycle-mounted TV units called ‘E-AVAS‘ and explain the scheme and its benefits to people in Jharkhand through short films on an LED screen mounted on a bike.
