On 29 January, 2023, Google celebrated the popularity of the Bubble Tea, with an interactive doodle. Bubble Tea, also known as ‘Boba Tea’, is a non-alcoholic, non-carbonated cold tea beverage. The beverage gained popularity during the Covid-19 pandemic. The popular search engine has selected 29 January to mark the third anniversary of the tea emoji.
