Save the Sea

- June 8, 2022

Every year, World Oceans Day is celebrated globally on 8 June. This year, the theme is Revitalization: Collective Action for the Ocean. The day is observed to create awareness among people about the negative impact of human activities such as garbage and sewage disposal on the ocean. On December 5, 2008, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution to designate 8 June as World Oceans Day.
