Rajasthan Day is celebrated every year across the state on March 30, to commemorate the formation of the state. On 30 March, 1949, the kingdoms of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Bikaner were accessed together to form the present-day Rajasthan. The state, which turned 73 this year, is also a home to popular tourist destinations such as Dilwara temples, a Jain pilgrimage site at Mount Abu, Balathal in Udaipur and many more.
