Freedom Fighter Fights Off COVID

On India’s 75th Independence Day, the news of 98-year-old freedom fighter Ishwarlal Dave beating Covid-19 has garnered attention. Dave attributed his recovery to yoga, which he has been practising for 20 years now. The freedom fighter and his wife were felicitated on the eve of Independence day by Ahmedabad District Collector, Sandip Sangle. Ishwarlar Dave also reminisced about the Quit India movement, which he was a part of, and about his various acts of rebellion and protest during the freedom struggle.
